Privacy Policy

Eva Stone Books (“we,” “us”) operates PLOT, an adult fiction discovery service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do not store. PLOT is for people 18 or older.

What we collect

• Account data if you sign up: email and authentication details handled by Supabase Auth. If you use Google sign-in, Google shares the account information you authorize.
• Taste and library data you create in the app: genre, subgenre, and trope picks; saves; hides; and preference updates from save, skip, hide, opening a story, or following a link to the source.
• Usage events such as which recommendations we showed, impressions, and source clicks, so we can rank stories and improve the feed.
• Cookies on this device: an age-confirmation cookie, an anonymous reader id, a short-lived session id, and (if you sign in) Supabase auth cookies. Google Analytics may also set cookies so we can see how many people use PLOT each day and month.

What we do not store

PLOT is not a publisher. We index metadata (title, author, blurb, tags, links). We do not keep full Literotica story bodies in our catalog. Openings and live ratings are fetched at display time and discarded. When you tap through to Kindle, Reddit, or Literotica, that platform’s own privacy policy applies.

How we use data

We use this information to run the service: confirm you are 18+, personalize recommendations, remember saves, measure which stories readers engage with, process Amazon Associates referrals when you follow a Kindle link, and keep the site secure. We do not sell your personal information.

Who else sees data

Hosting, database, and auth run on infrastructure providers (including Supabase). If Google sign-in is enabled, Google processes that sign-in. We use Google Analytics to measure visits and active users. Affiliate clicks to Amazon use Amazon’s associate program. Future adult-friendly ads, if turned on, would be served by an ad partner under their own policy. We do not share your reading taste with other readers unless you later choose to make a public profile.

Anonymous browsing

You can use PLOT without an account. In that case we attribute activity to a device cookie, not a name. If you later sign in, we may attach that cookie’s tastes and events to your account so the feed continues. Saves and hides made before sign-in may not move over.

Retention and control

Account data lasts until you delete the account or we close the service. You can edit tastes on your profile, remove saves, and sign out. To request deletion of account or stored preference data, email evastonebooks@gmail.com. Aggregated story popularity counts are not personal profiles and may remain after an account is removed.

Children

PLOT is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor used the service, contact us and we will delete associated data we can identify.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. The date at the top is the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
